1. DEFINITIONS
- "Cab": Refers to all passenger transport vehicles offered under G1 Cabs, including sedans, hatchbacks, SUVs, multi-utility vehicles (MUVs), and other types approved for passenger transportation.
- "Cab Partner": Includes all operators and drivers affiliated with G1 Cabs who provide their vehicles and services to facilitate passenger transport.
- "User": Any individual or entity using G1 Cabs to book transport services.
2. TYPES OF CAB BOOKINGS FACILITATED BY G1 CABS
G1 Cabs offers the following booking options:
- Outstation Rides: Enables Users to book cabs for travel between cities with operators holding All India Tourist Permits (AITP).
- Car Rentals (Intercity): Users can book cabs for exclusive rental purposes within or between cities.
- Airport Transfers: Dedicated intracity rides to and from airports, tailored for punctuality and convenience.
3. ROLE OF G1 CABS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
- G1 Cabs operates as a facilitator, connecting Users with Cab Partners. The service agreement is directly between the User and the Cab Partner.
- Cab Partners are solely responsible for compliance with all licensing, permits, insurance, and legal requirements. G1 Cabs does not guarantee or validate these obligations.
- G1 Cabs is not liable for:
- Delays, cancellations, or disruptions.
- Driver behavior, vehicle condition, or trip interruptions.
- Loss, theft, or damage of User belongings.
- Accidents, injuries, or fatalities during the trip.
In the event of breakdowns or accidents where no alternative arrangements are made by the Cab Partner, G1 Cabs will offer a proportionate refund for the unused portion of the trip.
4. PAYMENT TERMS
- Booking Models:
- Prepaid: Full payment at the time of booking, including fare, taxes, and fees.
- Part Payment: Partial payment during booking, with the remainder paid directly to the driver.
- Additional Charges: Toll fees, state taxes, parking fees, and other levies are borne by the User and settled directly with the driver.
- Final Pricing: The trip's final cost is calculated based on actual usage, including kilometers and hours, measured garage-to-garage.
5. USER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Carry valid photo identification and present it upon request.
- Ensure punctuality at pickup points; delays may lead to booking cancellation without refunds.
- Use services solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.
- Avoid unnecessary stops and respect trip schedules.
- Maintain decorum with drivers; abusive or inappropriate behavior may lead to trip termination.
6. GUIDELINES FOR USERS
The User Shall:
- Arrive on time at the pickup location.
- Verify and agree on luggage capacity before boarding.
- Confirm the trip’s start time and odometer reading.
The User Shall Not:
- Coerce the driver to violate traffic laws or overload the vehicle.
- Use services for illegal activities or commercial gain.
- Board the cab under intoxication or demand unauthorized detours.
7. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
- Bookings canceled by Users are subject to the cancellation policy displayed at the time of booking.
- Refunds for unused portions of trips due to Cab Partner issues will be assessed and provided by G1 Cabs.
- Refunds for cancellation will be processed in accordance with our policy and may take 7-10 business days to reflect in your account. Please ensure that the banking or account details provided are accurate, as G1 Cabs will not be held responsible for any loss or damages resulting from incorrect or incomplete information.
8. LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY
Users agree to indemnify G1 Cabs against any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from:
- User misconduct or violation of these terms.
- Disputes with Cab Partners over services provided.
G1 Cabs' liability is limited to the refund of payments made for unfulfilled services.
9. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
In the event of dissatisfaction or complaints, Users must contact G1 Cabs at the earliest to allow appropriate action.
By using G1 Cabs, Users acknowledge and agree to these Terms of Service.
